...to welcome you back!
I've done a lot of cleaning, and a little adjusting, and brought about some modifications, and we're finally ready to step back into the studio -- but hold on! There's a couple things you need to know before you arrive.
With safety and well-being in mind for all of us, there are some temporary "rules" in play. Keep in mind that these are in line with CDC recommendations and the health and wellness community guidelines. First, the studio can support 6 students in attendance at this time. That means a reservation is required to reserve a mat space for every class. With the limited space, there will be no pre-reservations and no walk-ins at this time. As well, please understand that if you make a reservation and do not attend, I must "charge" you for the class. Sign up and purchase instructions are below to help. You'll also notice there are TWO classes for each time -- make sure you choose whether you're attending ONLINE or IN STUDIO!
Now that you're signed up, what can you expect at the studio? Well, continuous cleaning and sanitizing between classes (that's on me), especially those frequently touched surfaces. What can you do to help?
WHEN YOU ARRIVE:
At this time, class sign-in is suspended so folks can move to where they need to be in an orderly and expeditious fashion. When you enter, leave your shoes (slip-ons are best) on the carpet by the door, sanitize your hands if you'd like (there's a sanitizing station as you enter the hallway), and make your way to the cubbies to store your personal items (cubbies will be cleaned after each class as well). Most of all, be considerate to others, there's no need to be in a rush. We'll start when everyone's settled in and still have an hour for our class.
WHILE YOU'RE IN THE STUDIO:
1) Please wear a mask or face covering (I have some if you don't) in the common areas (once you're on your mat - you'll have enough social distancing space to remove it) - put it back on if you're moving around the studio - to the rest room, etc.
2) Bring your gear - but only what you need - I'll try to announce what's needed in your reminder. If you plan on using studio bolsters, bring a pillowcase to cover what you use and do NOT replace the bolster when you're done - it will go in 24 hour quarantine. Same with studio mats, blocks, or straps. Of course, take your personal pillowcase when you leave :)
3) Find a mat space - studio mats will be laid out at the appropriate social distance for those attending - lay your mat over the one that's there. Do NOT pick up the studio mat when you're done - it will be cleaned. If you clean your personal mat after session, please bring your own cleaning agent as supplies are limited at the moment.
4) Enjoy your session! It's business as usual once you're on your mat. Relax and enjoy!
Now, I understand some of you aren't ready to venture out yet and that's OK - I fully support that decision! I want you to feel safe when you do. So continue to take care of yourself and attend ONLINE classes. For the month of June ALL classes and events will continue to be LIVESTREAMED. I'll re-evalutate mid-month and see which classes continue. Yes, I am going to continue ONLINE and you may even see some other options pop up soon.
Thank you for your support during this unique time! As we move forward together, I hope to see you soon, either ONLINE or in studio. Here's some other things you might be interested in:
