May 22 update from City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services

Between Friday, May 22 and Friday, June 12, our contractor continues the process of installing piles (metal casings) into the soil. These piles are the foundation of the new bridge.

After pile installation is complete, roadway excavation will begin. This process will take a month or more to complete.

The schedule may change due to a variety of factors, including weather, conditions underground, availability of materials and labor, and other factors. Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as needed.
