REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS

I know it has been a while since we were all able to play tennis at Doncaster.
The State Government relaxed some restrictions on 12 May 2020.
As the Doncaster Tennis Club property is owned by Manningham Council, we have had to wait to get their requirements which included an 8 page "Assessment" form setting out how we could comply with all requirements of the COVID-19 regulations.
We are almost in a position to reopen our courts, but we need responsible members to volunteer to supervise the facility when it is open.
Volunteers will not be able to play tennis while they are supervising.
We need people to volunteer during the hours of:
9am to 12 noon and 1pm to 5pm Sunday
8am to 12 noon and 1pm to 5 pm Saturday and,
9am - 3pm Monday to Friday
These shifts will be (mostly) in 2 hour blocks so that a volunteer will only be required for a period of 2 hours per shift.
Unless we get sufficient volunteers we will not be able to reopen.
The Committee will do some shifts but cannot cover the whole time.
We do not normally ask for volunteers but these are unusual times.
