HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! Hi there! HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! Wasn't the Devotion great today?! We heard God remind us that "The Lord will keep you from all harm...he will watch over your life!" (Psalm 121:7) I will always remember walking into the Air Force Academy Chapel in Colorado Springs and experiencing Psalm 121 displayed on a HUGE BANNER hanging on the rock face wall behind their Altar Table! My life was forever changed in that moment! Today...we are remembering that God often stands guard over all of us and each of us using people just like you and me! Today...we remember their acts of service and sacrifice to accomplish that mission! Today...God has given us their stories to tell of how they lived, how they loved and what they leave us with! Today...We are encouraged to live our lives in ways that truly honor their service and sacrifice! As Christ-followers, we are called to live lives worthy of Jesus who gave his life for folks like you and me! Thanks for all the ways you do that day after day after day! today...I hope you have a most wonderful day with family, friends and folks that you love and who love you! Thanks for doing all the things that will keep you and them extra safe! AAAAAAANNNNNNNDDDDD...tell the stories that you were left to you to tell so that everyone will know what this day is all about! Till I get to see you face-to-face, I will see you every morning in THE UPPER ROOM! I love you with all my heart and God loves you even more!
