Dear Friends,
Last Thursday we celebrated the 40th Day of Easter as we marked the Ascension of Jesus into heaven. Luke gives us an account of this in the Acts of the Apostles . Click here to read the passage.

This week we had some good news! Historic England (formerly English Heritage) have awarded us a grant of £38k towards the restoration of our church and so we plan to begin the emergency works to stabilise the church walls at the beginning of July to be completed by September.
Age Uk Camden have asked for donations of moral-boosting homemade cakes for their busy workers to enjoy during their breaks and offers of home made knitted or sewn items to sell in aid of their work locally. Also they are making resilience packages for the isolated elderly and are looking for donations of pet food to include as some of their service-users are worried about caring for their furry companions at this time. Contact me if you can help in any way.
The Benedictine monk, Fr Christopher Jamison has coordinated an amazing website of resources particularly for those who are feeling isolated at this time, there are some great films and helps for prayer and meditation. It is called Alone-Togther, click here to find it.
Simon, our Director of Music will be writing to you shortly with some musical reflections for today, so look out for his email soon..
I wish you every blessing at Ascension-tide!
Fr James
