Summer Break

Have a great summer break #LHWolfNation!  We look forward to seeing you all in August!  Please remember to return all school issued Chromebooks and/or items (library books, etc.) this week.  District offices and buildings will be closed on Monday, May 25.  

Summer Bulk Meal Pick Up Schedule
Summer bulk meals will be provided for those that pre-registered. Bulk meals can be picked up from the high school cafeteria (located behind the high school) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. according to the last name of the registered household.


Tuesdays: Last Names A - F
Wednesdays: Last Names G - M
Thursdays: Last Names N - Z

This schedule is for bulk meal pick ups beginning May 26 until June 26. Please call 501-767-8315 with questions.

Congratulations Class of 2020
We are proud of the Lake Hamilton High School Class of 2020.  If you missed the virtual graduation ceremony, catch it HERE. 

K - 1st Grade Drop Off

Kindergarten and 1st grade students should return any school issued Chromebooks and materials May 26 - 29 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each day.

There will be a table under the awning outside of the cafeteria. Parents need to be sure to include a piece of paper or a sticky note with their child's name and the name of the parent who signed the Chromebook out.

2nd - 3rd Grade Student Materials Drop Off

2nd and 3rd grade students should return any school issued Chromebooks and materials May 26 - 28 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each day. Please pull in the car rider line, call the office (767-8725) and a someone will come out to collect your items.

High School Prom Cancelled

Due to Arkansas' continued efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, many highly anticipated extracurricular events and activities were cancelled during the Spring semester of 2020.

After rescheduling the high school prom two times in the hope that restrictions on large gatherings would be lifted, the LHSD must regretfully announce that the 2020 LHHS prom will be cancelled.

As upsetting as this news is, the district would like to share that the decision to cancel was not made lightly. We had hoped we could still hold this memorable event during the 2019-2020 school year.

Lake Hamilton School District remains committed to ensuring the health and safety of our students, staff, and community. We look forward to a time when we can celebrate being together again in large groups without creating a health risk for our community.

The district is hopeful that an on-campus senior celebration event will be held in July as long as the guidelines for large groups gathering together are lifted.

Elementary School Class & Spring Pictures
Class and spring pictures for elementary school (2nd - 3rd grade) students can be picked up on Tuesday, May 26, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  Due to COVID-19, the yearbook production company is behind.  Yearbooks will not be available until June or July.  Thank you for your patience. 

DISTRICT TEACHER OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Lake Hamilton Intermediate School teacher, LeaAnne Ferrel, for being selected as the Lake Hamilton School District Teacher of the Year.

LeaAnne will represent Lake Hamilton School District in the State Teacher of the Year Program.

DISTRICT EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Lake Hamilton School District Bookkeeper, Sue Watkins, for being selected as the Lake Hamilton School District Employee of the Year!
