Hi Members
Finally, we are able to reopen the courts to members (Sunday to Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5 pm) & coaching.

We are short of volunteers to attend the club - see my email yesterday. If further volunteers do not come forward we will have to block periods of the booking system so that the courts are closed. So it's up to members.

When you make a booking (see below) you will notice a number of changes. Hopefully these restrictions and requirements will be for a short period and we can get back to the "old" club.
Please note that the club's water supply has been turned off due to works associated with the reconstruction of courts 6 & 12. As a result we have no toilets available at the club. Court 11 is also affected by the works and is not available for play.

WOULD YOU PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW AND UNDERSTAND THEM AS THEY ARE CURRENTLY ESSENTIAL.

IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE CLUB (you will be refused entry and we do not want to do that).
Runny Nose, cough, elevated temperature, tiredness or loss of taste. Please Google "Symptoms of COVID-19" for a detailed list.

All players MUST have a booking PRIOR to turning up to play - instructions are below. One member creates the booking and lists the names of the other (Maximum 3) players to play on court.
Players are only able to make a booking for 1 hour per day. We ask that you respect the limitation which is designed to allow more members to play - especially on weekends and later in the day on weekdays. As we better understand the demand on court time we may be able to allow more time per booking. But not now. If possible book a day ahead - initially this will not be possible but later this week you should book ahead. No bookings more than 4 days ahead.

How to Book a court...

Browse to picktime.com/doncastertc; read & close (X) the welcome message.
Pick a court.
Pick the day; the available times will be shown.
If the time you want is not available, try another court (click the court name to return to the list).
Pick a time.
Complete the booking form, including the names & phone numbers of all players (in case they are needed for contact tracing).

The following must be observed by all players:
a.   As there is no toilet, please go at home/work before you come to the club.
b.   Turn up to the club as near as possible to your booked time. If you turn up too early (more than 5 minutes before your booking time), you will be asked to wait outside the complex or in your car.
c.   Bring a full water bottle with you - there is no water on site.
d.   Each player is to bring their own personal hand sanitiser and use it before entering the complex, during play and upon exiting the complex (which will be via the gate behind the clubhouse).
e.   No Spectators or more than 4 participants per court booking.
f.   Leave immediately after play via the gate at the back of the clubhouse.
g.   No food or drinks before or after play. Take any rubbish home.
h.   Court nets have been set at the correct height and will be checked from time to time. Please do not touch the net handles to adjust the nets.
i.   No physical contact - no handshakes, no high fives etc.
j.   If waiting for a court to be vacated, please practice social distancing of 2 metres.

FINALLY,
I know the restrictions are imposing but they are required by Council and to give ALL members a chance to get back on the courts.
They will not be imposed for too long. Please abide with them and be patient.
Council has advised that they will have spot checks to ensure all the above is being complied with. They have said non compliance will result in closure of the club. Please let that not happen.
