More data
We've added a map showing the districts that are hotspots – defined as those that have more than 5 cases per 100,000 people. The hotspots are coloured red and orange, based on the rates of infection in the districts. We've also included a table containing the cases per 100,000 people for all South Africa's districts. These numbers were valid as of 16 May and come from a Department of Health presentation. We will update them if and when the department releases new information for the districts. You'll find the map and more provincial data on our provincial data page
