Salary

$40,000 - $45,000Review in six months

·        Bachelor’s degree preferred, but high school diploma accepted

·        5+ years of experience as Office Manager or Administrative Assistant

·        Superior organizational skills a must

·        Greet funders, community partners, clients for the Executive Director

·        Bookkeeping, Invoicing and Payment skills a must

·        Point-of-contact and manage Information Technology program/provider

·        Maintain up-to-date digital and hard copy filing systems

·        Provide administrative support to staff, contractors and consultants

·        Extensive knowledge of word processing programs and database spreadsheets

·        Ability to create organized filing system

·        Exceptional customer service skills

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills

·        Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Office Outlook 36, and other programs

·        Typing speed at least 60 WPM

·        Overachieving attitude and solid work ethics

·        Additional senior level administrative responsibilities as assigned

·        Salary DOE

·        MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ADDITIONAL HOURS AS NEEDED

Metro Transit Police Daily Blotter for May 18th, 2020

[PR] Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 300 b/o 63rd Street, NE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, May 8, 2020, in the 300 block of 63rd Street, Northeast.

At approximately 6:10 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in an altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a gun and shot the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim suffered from non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

On Friday May 22, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 24 year-old Cornell Antonio Hines, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
