Calling all young musicians

The Subi Voice of Youth presents Ampfest@home, a virtual music competition for young people.

Individual performers or bands can submit two original songs to be in the running to win over $1500 in prizes and the opportunity to record a live performance. Plus all entries will be in the running to win a special People's Choice Award!

To be eligible to enter you must live in the Perth metropolitan area and you must be aged between 12 and 25, or if in a band, the majority of members must be aged between 12 and 25.

Entries can be submitted online and close at 5pm Sunday 14 June. Follow the Subi Voice of Youth on Facebook to stay up to date with the competition.

Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, the format of this competition and the prizes offered are subject to change.

The City has reopened the Rokeby Road Administration Centre, Lords Recreation Centre and Subiaco Library. For now, the City’s other facilities remain closed, including community centres, museum, playgrounds and skate parks.

Spread joy in Subiaco
Seeking local artists and performers
Did you catch the phantom opera singer touring Subiaco streets in May? This was part of the City's Moments of Joy project. The City is seeking expressions of interest for local artists and performers to provide a moment of joy, a temporary unexpected installation or performance that surprises and delights. Funding of up to $1000 per applicant is available.
