RPCV Spotlight: Steve Saum, Ukraine '94-'96

While every person who serves in the Peace Corps carries their experiences with them when they return to the U.S., some people carry them more visibly than others. Steven Saum, who served with Group 3 in Lutsk shortly after Ukraine’s independence, is one of those people. Now working as editor of WorldView and director of strategic communications for the National Peace Corps Association, hear from Saum about his Peace Corps service, how the agency has changed, and where he predicts it might go in the future.

Now Showing in Virtual Theaters: A Towering Task

On May 22 A Towering Task opens in virtual cinemas around the nation! Narrated by Annette Bening, the film tells the remarkable story of the Peace Corps and asks what it means to be a global citizen. To watch, select a theater near you, then click on “Tickets” to rent the film. The ticket price is just $10.
