Art Shows are Back!

I’m so excited to be involved in 2 great art shows this June. It’ll be especially great to have a real art show with real people and to be able to see the artwork in real life.

•June 5th- Manitou Gallery Show, Santa Fe, NM

•June 13th- Scottsdale Art Auction, Scottsdale, AZ

Manitou Gallery Show

I will be traveling with my wife, 5 kids and our dog, Louisa, to Santa Fe for my biggest art show yet at Manitou Gallery.

I'd love for you to join me if you can.

I had thought my family would be happy and excited about finally leaving the house after three months. But, for some reason, my teenage daughter is already complaining about the 12 hour road trip and being carsick. Go figure. Maybe she has PTSD from our road trip last summer.

For those unable to attend, Manitou will be hosting the event live over zoom, as well. Follow them on their social media so you won’t miss it.

I’m grateful to Southwest Art Magazine, Western Art Collector and Western Art and Architecture which all had great write-ups about the show in their latest issues. Feeling blessed 🙏

Scottsdale Art Auction

This will be my first year at the Scottsdale Art Auction. I won’t be there in person, but I will be watching nervously from home.
My painting, Songs for my Ancestors, is lot #184 and will be auctioned off Saturday, June 13th in the afternoon session. Bidders will be able to bid online on the Scottsdale Art Auction website, or they have an app you can download that makes it super easy to bid, too.

When coronavirus took over the world, almost all the art shows were either cancelled or postponed which has been hard for everyone, especially those that suddenly found themselves out of work. I'm grateful for the support I have from you that makes it possible for me to continue to paint despite this trial. I am grateful for you 🙌 I am looking forward to these June shows and meeting those of you that can make it to them!
