A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT & CEO

The impact of COVID-19 around the world has been unprecedented, and with its arrival here at home, our main priority has been the health and wellness of one another.  Although the situation is changing daily, there is a sense of renewed hope and optimism as the number of COVID-19 cases decline in Nova Scotia and businesses slowly begin to reopen. We know there’s still a long road ahead, however we are prepared to proceed with caution, and ensure we return to our new and better normal as safely as possible.

As Cape Breton – Unama’ki’s economic development organization, the Cape Breton Partnership focuses on connecting people from any industry or sector to the supports and resources they need to succeed, and we recognize that this focus is more important now than ever before. These uncertain times has created significant stress for our entrepreneurs and businesses.  We are committed to understanding what our future economy will look like, and supporting our businesses now and into the future as they look toward re-opening.

To our business community, we want you to know that we are here for you and able to assist in a variety of areas; such as how to access or navigate a recently announced program or service, how to prepare a business plan to pivot your current business model, or how to promote yourself when looking for a new job. If you’re unsure where to start, call us at 902-562-0122 or email info@capebretonpartnership.com .

Cape Bretoners are known for their resiliency and now is no different.  We will work together to navigate these uncertain times as they continue to evolve and we will be stronger for it. Let us work together as a community to ensure that we return to better.

Carla Arsenault
President & CEO
