The Club has been successful in the Volunteer Grants 2020 program. Board of Management would like to thank Ian Goodenough for his continued support of Sorrento. Without his support we would not have been successful in this application.
The grant will be used to fund the purchase of new computers within the administration and bookkeeping functions in the club.
Thank you also to Rio Tinto and Paul Bridgen for the donation of $500 from Rio Tinto for the Dollars for Doers program.
Boaties News
The best we can hope for is a start back in boats in phase 3 at this stage which looks like it will be early to mid June.
If anything moves foward its a bonus! Hang in there as the long distance courses could be the first racing of the season.
Will know more after a boat panel meeting next week to clarify things . Club is still in lockdown at present as everything needs planning to go ahead .
