Sexual & Gender Ideology Indoctrination
Escalates At SA Public Schools!

For the first time in Family Policy Institute’s (FPI) 12 year existence, we are way behind our six-month funding goal (about 55 percent) - with just one month to go. As a result of the lockdown related economic distress, FPI’s income has declined considerably. Like many NGO’s and businesses in SA we are forced to take salary cuts and suspend many pro-family initiatives until funding improves.

Thankfully, President Ramaphosa confirmed the majority of employees will return to work on 1 June 2020 as the country shifts to lockdown level 3. We trust God that as commerce revives, South Africa's economy will rebound and create employment.

Please prayerfully consider making a generous donation to FPI today to help us continue and expand the critical work of defending the family and advancing Biblical values in Parliament, the media and general society.

Your tax-deductible donation can be transferred directly into FPI’s banking account via EFT and will help keep us on the frontlines of the battle for faith, family and religious freedoms. Tax-certificates are available on request.

The easing of restrictions will provide our team additional space to restore full operations. FPI will resume its core functions of defending faith, family and freedom on 1 June 2020. However, our efforts are severely hampered by a dire lack of funding. Your donation of any amount will help get us back to full strength.

The DA led Western Cape government has joined the assault on the innocence of children by promoting the radical sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) ideology in Western Cape public schools. SOGI is a central tenet of “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE).

This, however, comes as no surprise. The DA often funds and supports “gay pride” events in Cape Town. Its leader, John Steenhuisen urged President Ramaphosa to use his term as African Union Chairman to fight for LGBTQ rights.

The W/Cape government published draft guidelines on Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation in Public Schools and invites public comment by 19 June 2020. Please email Adv Lynn Coleridge-Zils at Lynn.Coleridge-Zils@westerncape.gov.za

The goal is to make SOGI a protected class - requiring texts to affirm and promote radical views of gender and sexuality. Parents in the U.S. and around the world have successfully opposed such curriculum changes, asserting their right to raise and educate their children according to their own beliefs and values.

Additionally, many parents are concerned about the promotion of gender ideology, which could lead to a rise in youth experiencing gender dysphoria and seeking “transgender medical treatment” with detrimental health effects. Please view the 17 minute "Gender Agenda"  video here.

Targeting SA's school children with SOGI and CSE is the diabolical objective of global sexual rights radicals under the guidance of UNESCO, UNICEF and the World Health Organisation (WHO). Their goal is to indoctrinate innocent children with the dangerous LGBTQ ideology, including the unscientific belief that gender is fluid and traditional beliefs about marriage and family is rooted in bigotry.

The South African government takes its public policy cue from the United Nations (UN). Basic Education Minister, Angie Motsheka repeatedly referenced UNESCO, UNICEF and the WHO when she outlined her rationale for reopening SA schools on 1 June 2020. Parents and SA education groups were not consulted.

The UN has declared husband and wife politically incorrect terms. This falls in line with the radical sexual and gender ideology advanced by agenda driven UN agencies to embed LGBTQ propaganda in public education curricula globally.

Please write (in your own words) to the Western Cape Government before 19 June 2020 and express your strong opposition to this blatant attempt to indoctrinate innocent children with the unscientific and dangerous sexual and gender ideology under the guise of promoting equality and combating discrimination.

Please also make a generous tax-deductible donation to FPI today to support our vital pro-family work in SA. Your partnership is valued and appreciated.
