Top tips for keeping active

Fitter Futures Warwickshire services aim to support people across Warwickshire to improve their health, something that is so important now more than ever.

Nursery rhyme competition for Child Safety Week

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service are running a competition for #ChildSafetyWeek (1st - 7th June) and they would love as many people as possible to take part so that they can highlight the importance of safety, especially now that many of us are spending lots more time at home with our loved ones.

Write a nursery rhyme or poem about safety with your little ones and you’ll be in with the chance of winning your very own Blaze the Bear!

Sycamore Counselling Service

Sycamore Counselling are offering telephone support to adults, living in Nuneaton or Bedworth.

Please note this is not intended to be long term support but rather to be used for those moments of crisis many will experience at this time.

Funds for children with special educational needs and disabilities

The government has announced £37 million for children with special educational needs and disabilities in England.

Funding can be gained for equipment, goods, services such as household items, education equipment or specialist equipment for disabled or critically ill children who are staying at home more due to the pandemic.

A huge thank you for mystery hamper left for Fire Service and Boots pharmacy


The kind people behind a mystery hamper left outside Boots on All Saints Square in Bedworth have been asked to step forward, so they can be thanked for the lovely gesture.

The amazing hamper was left at Boots on Thursday 21 May with a card to thank the staff and the Fire Prevention Team at Bedworth Fire Station for everything they have done for the community delivering prescriptions to those self-isolating or those who have no way of getting to the pharmacy.
