Dearly Beloved:

Another Tuesday arrives, and after Memorial Day (even if it was a somewhat muted and strange one), we are most definitely headed into summer mode.  What that means for First Church this year is interesting, and this sermon from two Sundays ago tells why and how--

What Summer means for us is we will continue to have high quality and heart-felt services just as we did during the "regular" church year--you won't see much difference in that intent.  Daniel and I will pretty much preach through, and try to keep up everyone's morale and interest.

What will change a bit is that we will use this summer period to experiment, to learn, to get more agile and add some expertise in terms of how to use new technologies...We have a lot to learn, as we were all thrown into the deep end there.

I think we are doing really well each Sunday, but we clearly have a great deal still to learn--as we all head into "the Wilderness" together.

Fondly,
Stephen
