Please join Jan Hebbard, the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library's exhibition coordinator, for a virtual tour of the exhibit "The Strategies of Suffrage: Mobilizing a Nation for Women's Rights" on Thursday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m.

This final program of this online series will conclude the Atlanta Preservation Center's recognition of Preservation Month.

Recognizing Memorial Day at Westview Cemetery.

Born in 1947 and a graduate of Forest Park High School in Clayton County, Georgia, John Harold Mann served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, where he was killed in action in 1967.  He is buried at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta alongside his father, John C. Mann, a World War II veteran, and his mother, Lydia Evelyn W. Mann.  John is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC; his name is inscribed at panel 31e, line 25.
