The Office of Block Grant Assistance (OBGA) Disaster Recovery and Special Issues Division (DRSI) is hosting a webinar series for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) grantees to provide an introduction to each program.
- The CDBG-DR webinars will educate CDBG-DR grantees on how to successfully and compliantly implement their programs. A basic overview of the requirements and key topics listed in the chart below will be covered as well.
This webinar series is intended for new CDBG-DR grantees: FY 2018 and 2019 grantees that received their first allocation of CDBG-DR grant funding or those who received additional funding for the first time since FY 2017. As space permits, partners such as subrecipients and developers, as well as more seasoned CDBG-DR grantee staff, may attend.
- The CDBG-MIT webinars will provide CDBG-MIT grantees with information on best practices for transformative mitigation projects. A detailed review of the requirements and key topics listed in the chart below will be covered as well.
This webinar series is intended for CDBG-MIT grantees. As space permits, partners such as subrecipients and developers may attend.
Grantees may attend sessions from either the CDBG-DR or CDBG-MIT webinar series as needed.
Note: Participation in each session is limited to 280 participants. A recording of each webinar will be posted on the HUD Exchange so grantees can view the webinar at a later date.
