Hey Mama!

I'm pretty sure time isn't real anymore. Just me?

The other day I realized it was 10am and went to hop on my Monday morning Zoom call.

...Except it was only Sunday. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I've been making a daily whiteboard schedule for my oldest, but it helps me remember what day it is, too. It feels like the newness of being home has worn off and everyone is grumpy and tired of each other (at least at my house).

How are you coping with everything right now?

Chocolate? Wine? Netflix?

One of mine is collecting memes, and I'm sure I'm not alone. I'll send a few in my next email, but this Hedger Humor cartoon definitely resonated today as I fed my oldest ice cream at 10:30am so I could get this written and today's Facebook Live set up. 😬

If what you're doing isn't working for you, I'm hosting Martha Brown on my Facebook page at 11am Pacific/2pm Eastern today to talk about coping strategies during this crisis. If you need some encouragement or ideas, I hope you can join us.

I'll also be going live on my page a few more times with short survival strategies in the next week or two. If there's a topic you want addressed, just hit reply and let me know!

We're all just trying to make it through the day. If you're out of brain cells and could use some commiseration, community, and support, I hope you'll join me on a Saturday Survival Session call

Last week we talked about child spacing, working from home with kids, and that three-kid life, which I actively demonstrated by optimistically thinking I could get through an hour-long call in my home office. Next week I'll be broadcasting from my car, alone.

I know we're all tired of Zoom, but we're limited on options here! If you're overwhelmed or struggling with generic advice and just need to vent, talk it out, or get a little perspective, hop on a call. It's free, but registration is required for Zoom login info.

Thank you for being part of my community, Mama. I know there's a lot of information out there, and I'm grateful that you value what I share.

P.S. I hope your family is healthy and safe. It's hard to prioritize yourself with everything that's going on. You deserve to have the support you need. Hope to see you on Saturday.
