We are so happy to announce that we have raised enough funds to support the first two artists who have requested the Group .BR NY Brazilian Artists Fund. The supported artists are Juliana Sales and Adriana Varella. Congrats!!! ⠀

We are close to supporting one more artist, will you chip in?

Group .BR New York Artists Fund will allow us to offer a one-time, first-come-first-served $250 donation to Brazilian artists in New York State impacted by COVID-19. It will also support Group .BR’s operations and online programming during restricted times of face-to-face events allowing us to pay the artists involved. We hope to help as many artists as possible.

‘This is Me Eating___’ is a virtual project series produced by Et Alia Theater that aims to create space for anyone to explore and express their personal relationship to eating. Fill in the blank of the title with what you wish to explore, create your own version of the project and, well, you may discover that you are not alone! This can be done in any shape or form, any style and any medium (film, dance, documentary, monologue, poetry etc.); it can be shared, or it can just be an incentive for some personal thinking. Every Sunday since April 26th, we’ve been releasing a new video made from one of our members, but we’ve also been sharing all submissions on our social media accounts as we receive them. All projects will be published on Et Alia Theater's virtual platforms: Instagram, Facebook and Vimeo.

The National Theatre is streaming plays for free on YouTube. The shows were filmed live on stage by National Theatre Live which is the broadcast arm of the National Theatre. They capture some of the best British plays and share them to cinema screens around the world.
