Hey <<First Name>>

Wow. The Parent Liaison Program has reached the end of its first year. And what a year it has been. We are impressed and humbled by your strength and resilience. We are heart broken by your struggles and adversities. And we are still here to help. Amy and Rebecca will work through Friday, June 12. In the Summer, you can contact John or Stacy at 406.823.6356.

If we didn't connect with you this school year, keep us in mind next year. We are ready to talk about parenting, child development and your relationship with your child. We promise to listen. We promise to explore your challenges with kindness, curiosity and grace. No judgment. No shame.

Health and safety to you. - Rebecca Loughrie, Amy Clark, Stacy Peterson & John Gregory

Christina

Christina has three kiddos at home and a husband with special health needs. She has twins boys in first grade and a second grader. These days... Christina does it all. She's a mother, a teacher, a nurse, and a counselor. Her grace and her honesty and her strength are inspiring.

"My kids miss their teachers and friends at school. Home school is hard and they argue, but I have learned how to encourage them."

Christina talks with Rebecca every week. Rebecca is the Parent Liaison at Winans School. They discuss parenting, home schooling and quarantine, and they discuss Christina's family's unique challenges.

"Rebecca has been so easy to talk. I feel very comfortable with her. She has helped me feel good about myself. She's been very supportive."

Her twins are Jordan and Jaiden. Jaiden plays in the yard and finds bugs for his bearded dragon. He will be a zookeeper extraordinaire one day. Jordan likes to earn "Tablet Time" by finishing his homework. He will be a builder AND a boxer. We can't wait to see how he does that! Albany is the older sister. Albany loves her Mom time. They take walks together WITHOUT the twins! She has a future in public safety wearing the badge and uniform of a police officer.

Year End Surveys. How did we do?

If you are a parent with a child at Washington, Winans or East Side, we would love for you to take 5 minute to complete this survey.

If you are a teacher or staff at Washington, Winans or East Side, AND you haven't already done so... we would love for you to take this survey.
