I hope to see many of you at our drive-through send-off for Fr. Caleb and family this coming Sunday the 24th between 10 a.m.-noon in the Emmanuel parking lot. All three clergy will be present, and there will be a place to leave cards or gifts. You may also mail items to the family's new home, 1001 W Grand Ave., Ponca City OK 74601. Come thank Fr. Caleb, Julie, Alice, Charles, and Clive and wish them well! (The rain date is Monday the 25th, Memorial Day, in the same time slot.) Read on for information on welcoming our new curate, Marisa Crofts, and on giving your input to the Regathering Task Force as we consider options for small-group in-person worship this summer.

REGATHERING SURVEY
If the church has your email, you should have received yesterday an invitation to give your input concerning worship at Emmanuel during Illinois Phase 3. If you have not filled out this brief and very important survey from the Regathering Task Force, please do so as soon as possible. The deadline is Thursday, May 28th. Copies have also gone out by US Mail to those who need them, and extras will be available at Fr. Caleb's farewell on Sunday.
WELCOME MARISA
Marisa Crofts begins at Emmanuel on June 1! Some have asked if they should bring in gifts for a "pounding" as we did for the Roberts family. Given public health restrictions, the vestry has chosen instead to do two things:
- We invite you to purchase local gift cards to establishments you'd like to share with Marisa and Trent, and to send them to the church with a note of welcome.
- We invite you to contribute to a collection of brief video welcomes from parishioners which Craig Russell has organized via FlipGrid, which allows you to capture and post short video clips with a phone or computer. Go to https://flipgrid.com/11f6465d and enter the password Welcome2020. You'll need to log in using a Google or Microsoft ID. Then just click on the green button and record your greeting to our new curate! If you need assistance, contact Craig at russell.c@mchsi.com
PENTECOST HOME WORSHIP
On the feast of Pentecost, May 31, Emmanuel will share in worshiping together via another set of dispersed but common home worship materials (as we did in Holy Week), for use with an optional YouTube playlist. Watch your email (or snail mail if preferred) next week, download it in advance here or pick up a copy at Fr. Caleb's farewell.
HYMN SING ON ZOOM
Come make a joyful noise Wednesday, June 3rd from 7:00-7:45 p.m. at our first congregation-wide online singing event, Hymns and Hops. Although we won’t unmute our own microphones, you’ll be able to see each other and sing along with Mike Fisher and Chris Mason in the sanctuary. Music and lyrics will be provided on the screen. We’ll bring the hymns; you bring the hops, ginger ale, hot tea or other favorite beverage! Here's the Zoom Meeting Link.
