Today We Remember Kyle

Kyle was someone who always brought laughter and joy to his Vancouver family. We will forever remember his cheeky smile, his special sense of humour and his laughter. He was so loved by his friends and all of those who are part of the wider Irish community in Vancouver and will be greatly missed by us all.

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Kyle’s family and friends, both here in Vancouver and his native Sligo. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Donnellan's Irish pub is back in business

Each Newsletter we will be highlighting how Irish businesses are adapting to the COVID-19 crisis. This week Donnellan's comes out on top after we heard great things about their adaptation to social distancing rules.

Nice use of the Hurley lads! Doing Ireland proud, keep up the great work!

Organisation Spotlight

Van Isle GAA

With the delay in the GAA season due to COVID-19, the team wanted to take the opportunity to work together. In a physically distant way. to give back to the Vancouver Island community which has welcomed the club, and support an incredible cause.

During these unprecedented times, many people are struggling with their mental health, impacted by stress, job loss, social isolation, or other factors.

The hope is that they can run 460km (the length of Vancouver Island)  and raise $460.00 to donate to the Vancouver Island Mental Health Society.
If you would like to participate, please run, cycle or swim 🏊🏼and donate $1.00 for each km completed via the link below.
Thank you for your support! ❤️ 💚
