Dear Friends,

Resources for worship this Sunday

Here are the resources for you to use this week as you worship and celebrate communion in your homes. I encourage all of us to please invite a few others to join with us.

Included is:

A communion liturgy booklet, (Print double-sided to produce a booklet)

A communion liturgy booklet for families with young children, (print double-sided to produce a booklet)

An accompanying sheet that includes this week's readings, teaching video link, and reflection questions,

A transcript of the teaching for those who can't access the video.

Please use the reserved sacrament that was delivered to you last week.

Remember that yesterday we began four weeks of prayer for our neighbourhood, praying Thy Kingdom Come. If you haven't already, write down the names of 5 friends and neighbours who you will pray will come to receive and follow Jesus.

Request for help

Do you have a spare hour, approximately once a month, to help deliver Meals on Wheels?

For many years, a group of parishioners have been supporting this vital ministry. Due to recent "retirements", there are now two gaps in the roster that need filling. One on Wednesday, and one on Thursday.

The meals are dropped off at the Community Centre, Chelsea Street by SPOTLESS at about 11am on the day. The run usually takes about an hour. This is not every week – it works out to once every 4 weeks. One fit person can do it on their own but it is preferred if it is done in twos.

If you are interested or would like to find out more, please contact Kaye Keighley. Her email is mkkeighley@xtra.co.nz

May Christ increase your hope in him this week, and use you reflect this hope in our neihgbourhood.

Rev Chris
