We had so many entries in last month's competition for the ultimate iso-prize - the PUTT18 putting mat game and practice mat. A big congratulations to our two lucky winners, Philip Rolfe and Mary Jane Ursu, who answered the following rules question correctly:
When the edge of ground under repair is defined by a line on the ground, the line itself is in the ground under repair - true or false?
The correct answer is true - under the definition of Ground Under Repair - when defined by a painted line on the ground, the edge of the ground under repair is the outside edge of the line, and the line itself is in the ground under repair.

We are so fortunate to have continued playing golf in NSW and the ACT during the COVID-19 crisis.
The ability to escape isolation, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors has provided much relief for existing golfers, and for many who have rediscovered their passion for the game.
Last month's newsletter competition prize was the Putt18 - an innovative and fun putting mat game that can help you improve your putting as well as having lots of fun playing a variety of golf games!
This month, Glenn, the designer of Putt18 is offering an exclusive 10% discount to Golfing NSW subscribers.
The last few weeks have seen some incredible golf course photos posted on social media. Just like this one from Rocco Pirello, a member at Northbridge Golf Club who captured this great shot on the 3rd hole.
Do you have a great photo of your course to share? We'd love to see it and will publish it in next month's newsletter.
Don't forget that the R&A also offers a selection of quizzes from Beginner to Advanced - it's a great way to learn the rules, and keep up to date.
With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting everyone’s daily lives, more of us have time at home to perhaps achieve a better knowledge of the Rules of Golf. Golf is a self-regulating game and it's up to all of us to know the rules and apply them correctly.
The R&A Rules Academy is an online resource for golfers of all levels and experience which provides an interesting and easy way to learn the Rules of Golf, culminating in an optional Level 1 Exam. Why not get started now!
Do you have an interesting story to share about your Club? A great achievement, an incredible volunteer, a new initiative?
We'd love to hear from you! We are always on the lookout for stories for our newsletter. Just email your details and your story idea to info@golfnsw.org.au, and we will be in touch.
And...if your story is published, you will receive two dozen Srixon golf balls!
