NO ALTERNATIVE EVENTS PROPOSED
We considered lots of alternatives in lieu of Huttcross. However, we feel that many of these options aren't accessible to all of our members (eg gravel grinds are not suitable for Mighty CX and some of our grownups enjoy Huttcross due to the accessibility it offers in the depths of winter in place of long days in the saddle). Zwift already has multiple races and rides that you can join. We encourage you to get out (or on) your bike in whatever form and enjoy pedalling but there will be NO ALTERNATIVE EVENTS until we can re-establish Huttcross as we know and love it.
REFUNDS, ROLLOVERS, DONATIONS
If you were one of our die hard fans who grabbed your club membership for 2020 early on you have the following options:
- A REFUND of your club membership (our thoughts are especially with our members who are experiencing financial hardship at this time)
- ROLLOVER your club membership to 2021 (if you do not want to participate in the 2020 season as/when it happens)
- Leave your club membership in the pot as a DONATION to the club (for which we are very grateful)
AOTEAROA CROSSFEST 2020
Unfortunately we have made the decision in close consultation with Cycling NZ to cancel Aotearoa Crossfest in 2020.
It is planed to deliver a bigger and better festival in 2021.
