What glorious weather!

We hope that you have been able to enjoy time outdoors and maybe a visit to one of our stunning beaches. If you do visit East Beach you will notice that Arun District Council has marked the prom with social distancing reminders. Please note that Lifeguards are not in operation at the moment so please be sensible when swimming.

Committee Membership for the coming year has now been agreed and you can see which Councillors sit on which Committee by visiting our website.

We have produced a summary of the New Government Guidance issued on 11 May which is available on our website.

Our Museum team are working hard getting their website ready for launch sometime in June, watch this space! Do pay their website a visit to discover some of their online resources.

If you have children in reception, Year 1 or 6 you may want to know that West Sussex County Council is working closely with schools to help them with the plans to reopen from 1st June. You can read more about it here.

Pandemic survey - West Sussex

West Sussex County Council wants to know how the current situation is affecting our residents in various different ways to help them understand how they can effectively support you.

They have launched an online survey to gather your views and to assess the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on your lives.

Tell them how your lives have changed, how you are coping and what your thoughts are on life after this crisis. Your answers will help to shape their response to the current crisis as well as their plans for the future.

Please take 10-15 minutes to complete this very important survey by Sunday 31 May 2020.
