2021 Bulletins

Bulletins are probably far from your mind right now, but we wanted to give you a sneak peek of what’s coming, and let you know about some changes to the way orders are placed. Bulletins will be available to order online on ucrdstore.ca in early October 2020, and will be shipped within two days of being ordered. There is no order deadline, but we encourage you to place your order when bulletins become available in October so you receive your first choices while supplies last. Find out more in the What's Flyers folder!

Worship Resources

Be sure to check out the latest worship resources for upcoming liturgical dates including Environment Sunday, Pride Sunday, the Indigenous Day of Prayer, and the World Week for Peace in Palestine and Israel. You'll find more info in the 'What's Online' section of the What's Flyers folder!

Coming Soon: The Other Side of the River: From Church Pew to Sweat Lodge, by Alf Dumont

Alf Dumont walks between the two worlds of Indigenous and settler, traditional spirituality and Christianity. In The Other Side of the River, he shares stories of building bridges between these worlds. Dumont challenges the church to re-examine the theology behind its past decisions around residential schools, so that it might live out the words of its apologies.

Coming this summer!

Rendez-vous Re-imagined!

2020 is turning out to be a year of the unexpected and that means Rendez-vous 2020 will be a Rendez-vous unlike any other. Due to the ongoing health crisis, we won’t be able to hold a large gathering in Calgary this summer. It’s up to us to dream together what it means to be a community of faith, even if we can’t all be in the same (physical) space. Through real-time online events, recordings, and DIY workshop kits, we will celebrate bold faith, brave space and brazen grace. You can read more about it in the 'What's Happening?' section of the What's Flyers folder!

Webinar: Discernment for Ministry

First webinar: Spiritual Gifts, Thursday, May 28, 2020. 12:00 p.m - 1:00 p.m. ET

These webinars are offered to help people discern their call to ministry, promote information about ministry and the Candidacy Pathway process, and connect those that are discerning with those that can offer support. They are not mandatory, but rather are here to support someone who is considering ministry. Our hope is that the conversations you encounter here will spark deeper and more personal reflection with your mentor, your family members, and the people you trust to guide you on your own spiritual journey. Read more about this and other upcoming events in the 'What's Happening?' section of the What's Flyers folder!
