Dear Beloved Community Members,
Eid Mubarak! Alhamdullilah, God has graced us with completing another Ramadan. It was not just any other Ramadan - it was unique, none that we have ever known or experienced.
It was a Ramadan of solitude with more time to reflect and develop a beautiful spiritual practice in our homes and with our families.
Despite our experience of Ramadan in our homes, the use of technology through the Center’s nightly program brought our hearts and spirits together. Our beloved Religious Director Asim Buyuksoy and Dr. Saleh Kholaki, who made us feel like we were transformed into another realm of familiarity with their beautiful Quranic recitation and Taraweeh prayers.
We were witness to our dedicated staff working to continue the functions of the Center, and our Committees and volunteers striving to fulfill the diverse needs of our community.
As we come together virtually during Eid, we are blessed to have had a unique spiritual experience of closeness to God and we look forward to carrying that torch of God-consciousness together into the rest of the year.
As your Islamic Center, we will continue to provide beautiful Spiritual and Quranic reflections and educational forums to add to our spiritual growth and knowledge through the coming year. Click here for upcoming programs.
