This is your chance to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and share how you are adapting your business. They’ve pulled together their experts and hospital best practices and are now offering the business community resources on things like proper handwashing, surface cleaning, mask wearing, social distancing and more. Keynote Speaker: Christi Ashby
Christi Ashby is the editor and publisher of Orange Appeal, a magazine for women she founded in 2008 to create a sense of community and promote local women, their interests and non-profit organizations. Prior to that she developed Orlando Leisure and was the editor and publisher for nine years. She founded the Orlando Women’s Conference in 2011 with her daughter, Kate Slentz.

The mission of her company, Appeal Media and Events Group, is to connect people with their community. In the past 12 years, they have sent out more than 300 e-newsletters, each promoting nonprofit and charitable events. In addition, the company has donated more than $850,000 worth of print advertising to nonprofits.
Christi is celebrating 34 years as a publishing and media professional this year having managed and operated more than 10 different national and regional publications. A proud graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism, she was on the board of directors of the Florida Magazine Association for 12 years, serving as president of the organization twice.

She has assisted dozens of non-profit organizations and has served on the boards of Shepherd’s Hope (chair), the Central Florida Women’s League (board member 2011-present) and Orlando Ballet (vice-chair), the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Circle, Florida Hospital Foundation (chair). She recently joined the board of Support Our Scholars.

Friday, July 31, 11:30 a.m. - Join the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce for our annual Women of Influence Luncheon at The Alfond Inn, where we will recognize our 2020 Woman of Influence and the graduates of our Relaunch: Career Reentry for Professional Women, Class VI. The luncheon is a great opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the women in our community and to gain some insights from their journeys.
This year we will be honoring Linda Landman Gonzalez, Orlando Magic's Vice President of Social Responsibility and President of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation. In her role, Landman Gonzalez oversees community relations, government relations, philanthropy, corporate giving, cause marketing and multicultural insights.
