SummerQuest and Adult Summer Reading is now live!

While Alexandria Library branches may still be closed, SummerQuest has launched online! Children, teens, and adults can sign up for Summer Reading through Beanstack and begin logging books and minutes toward earning fabulous prizes.

From June through August, visit your Alexandria Library’s Virtual Branch for music, magic, storytelling, reading, nature shows, hands-on activities and more! Most programs do not require registration to attend. Scheduled events for this year’s SummerQuest programs will be listed here. We will be adding events over the next few weeks!

Adults, don't let the kids have all of the fun! Join in now through September 6, 2020.  Read or listen to a book, add it to your log, and you will be entered into a drawing for a gift card. Readers can earn up to eleven entries. Ten entries can be earned for reading or listening to books. One entry can be earned for attending a virtual program for adults.

While the library is closed you can fill out the virtual bookmark. The virtual bookmark will be emailed to a librarian who will enter you into the drawing. You can also sign up through Beanstack as well.

All ages can participate in our Summer Reading Book Trailer contest which includes a chance to win up to $50. Do you like books? Do you like making movies? Consider entering Alexandria Library's Book Trailer Contest.
