Every year prior to our June Congregational Annual Meeting, a Nominating Committee is formed, which invites church members to prayerfully consider a leadership role in the life of our church.
This year, there will be three openings on the consistory. What is the consistory?
The consistory is the governing body of the church, and is the voice of the congregation. Consistory members are responsible for representing the congregation with all the important decisions they make, and are responsible for upholding and adhering to the church’s constitution. Members of consistory serve 3-year terms and may serve 2 consecutive terms if they wish. Each consistory member is required to serve on at least one committee within the church. The consistory meets on the third Monday evening of every month. Meetings are currently held via Zoom (by computer or telephone).

Please email us a video of your child dancing, leaping, spinning, etc. with their steamer by 5/27. Children are encouraged to shout the words “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit!” in their video.

Save the Date for our June Congregational Meeting to be held on Sunday, June 28th at 1pm via "Zoom," a videotelephony platform. Church members will join the meeting by calling on their telephone or clicking a website on their computer. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!

Throughout the month of May, members of our Community Connections Committee have been packing and delivering 25 bag lunches every Tuesday to Safe Harbor Easton. We are continuing this ministry through the month of June, and YOU are invited to get involved! Lunches include a sandwich, drink, piece of fruit, and 1-2 snacks. You can help by donating items for the lunches, assembling the lunches or dropping them off to Safe Harbor. Send us an email if you are interested in volunteering.

Thank you to everyone who has donated nonperishable food items for Norwescap New Jersey. So far this month we have donated 575 pounds of food! We will be collecting donations through May 31st. You may drop them in the plastic bin under the portico.

We will be giving out the Nulton Scholarship again this year. The scholarship is $500.00. All students graduating from High School or currently attending college are eligible. You may print the application or pick one up at the Church Office. The deadline for all applicants is May 31st . Helping Hands if You Have a Need

In the midst of this public health crisis, some of our church members have been laid off from their jobs, furloughed and had other extenuating circumstances. If you have fallen on hard times, we have church members who stand ready to lend a helping hand. Please email the pastors if you are in need of assistance, and your request will be kept confidential.

It’s that time of the year again… We will recognize our graduates on June 14th. If you know of anyone graduating from High School or College, please let the office know. Please email the church office at newcreationucc@gmail.com or you can write it down and drop your information into the church's mailbox. Info example: who, where they are graduating from, college going to, and future plans/new job, etc… Please have the information in by Sunday June 7th. – Thanks!
