We are incredibly excited to announce that Matthew Bishop, an award-winning writer and former Bureau Chief of The Economist, will be joining us as part of the Global Ventures' Founders Series this week!
Matthew was the former US Business Editor and New York Bureau Chief of The Economist. Prior to that, he was the magazine's London-based Business Editor. He has interviewed several well-known leaders, from Elon Musk and Arianna Huffington to Warren Buffet, Bill Clinton, and Sheryl Sandberg. He is also a member of theWorld Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on the Role of Business.
We will be hosting the eleventh Global Ventures' Founders Webinar on Sunday, June 7, at 6:00PM (GST). The focus of this call will be the second wave and the shapes of recovery.
While several countries have succeeded in bringing the local outbreak under control, the pandemic is now widespread across the globe and these countries remain at risk of a second wave. What does this mean for people, businesses, and economies? Matthew will share his thoughts on the path to long-term control, and how we should navigate beyond the first wave to recovery!
