Suspension Notice of Contingency Surcharge (CGD)

Manila update

Dear Valued Customers,

As previously announced, due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus and government imposed lock downs, terminal operations and pick-up of inbound laden reefer containers had been slow in Manila (Philippines) and the terminal was facing a serious shortage of available reefer plugs.

We have now seen an improvement of the situation. The terminal congestion has eased significantly, reefer plug availability has improved and we are pleased to report that the situation is now improved.
In view of these improved circumstances, ONE hereby announces the suspension the congestion surcharge (CGD) for reefer shipments moving into Manila with effect from 22nd May 2020*. *Based on freight application date.

The global situation related to COVID-19 continues to be highly dynamic, changing from day by day. ONE will continue to closely monitor all developments and endeavour to provide our customers with further updates concerning any further material changes in circumstances.

Thank you for your continued support to ONE and we trust you will also continue to stay well and safe.
