From Canon Heather
Dear Friends,

Winter is here! As I write, it is a very chilly morning. We've woken to frosty patches on our back lawn, and can hear the trains blowing their horns as they prepare to leave our local station, which we can only hear when it is cold enough.

Thinking warmer thoughts, the Cathedral ministry team continues in daily prayer for you, and we are very much looking forward to once again being able to welcome small numbers of worshippers into the building for our Sunday services. This week in the cathedral we completed our cleaning of areas we can't reach without a scissor lift, and we are welcoming back all our vergers as we begin operating on a slightly fuller roster. It is lovely to see faces we not seen since the restrictions began. The vergers continue in preparation works and deep cleaning of the building.

Our worship this Sunday will be centered on our celebration of the three-in-one Godhead for Trinity Sunday. We look forward to hearing from you via Facebook, email and phone, and through our zoom meetings on Sunday morning and Thursday evening. Do pray for the Chapter as they meet this Tuesday evening, and for one another - although physically separated, united through the fellowship we enjoy in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Grace and peace,

Heather.
