This was our very first members exclusive webinar and included NCASS' Mark Laurie and Jenny Morris MBE, who talked through the things you'll need to demonstrate to local authorities and EHO’s to prove that you are operating safely during Covid-19.

They also explored the new, editable Covid-19 Risk Assessment document that we’ve put together especially for members.

Caterer Spotlight

Greg Gabriel - Mixing Jug: "Focus on opportunities and the silver lining rather than the more obvious grey cloud"

We want to shine a light on the positive and proactive ways that our members have been working through Covid-19 and discover what advice they’d extend to other food and drink businesses who are facing a similar set of challenges.

This week, we caught up with Greg Gabriel from festival and event catering company, The Mixing Jug, who spoke about how "taking some ‘time-out’ has enabled him to reflect on what direction the business should take going forward."

In early April, industry associations joined together to research and present evidence on the impact of Coronavirus and the effectiveness of Government support on the Events Supply Sector.

The survey that the industry, including The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA), carried out together had over 1400 responses, the report it produced was delivered to Treasury and along with other activity from across the wider creative sector, we’re certain it led to further support measures being announced soon after.

It is now time to ask once more for your input, taking into account measures introduced since the last report and the more recently announced tapering and removal of support packages.

Please help us to put forward evidence to Government by completing the survey below.
