PRAY for the McCrea family. They are currently in Canada as they returned to settle their eldest son, James, into a summer job, a Room/Board living situation, and into university. Unfortunately due to COVID19, they are unable to return to Colombia until September. Last week Darren's mom passed away. This dear family is facing all the emotions and decision making processes of losing a parent during COVID and having to leave one of your children in Canada as you return to the field. Pray that God would provide all that is needed for James as he begins this new chapter in his life. Pray for the McCreas as they summer in Canada, connect with pastors and churches, care for their sons. Pray for their ministry in Colombia and those in leadership there.
PRAY for all of our Villages of Hope in Africa. Recently, Pamela, our very first orphan (along with her brother Daniel) at Village of Hope Zimbabwe had opportunity to be interviewed on Zimbabwe T.V.
Pamela and Daniel were very young children when they came to live at VOH. Both their parents had passed away.
Pamela was able to bring great words of encouragement to a nation in crisis.
During her interview, Pamela encouraged viewers to continue to hold on to their faith and do their best to stay safe and practice good hygiene so that we can stop the spread of Corona virus. She also encouraged young people to remain focused so they can achieve their goals. One thing that stood out during her talk was her acknowledging the impact VOH Zimbabwe had on her life. She said she is where she is today because of the care she received at VOH. Pamela has completed university, working full time while continuing some further studies. She's fully engaged with worship and the youth of her church, Hope Community Church, Harare, Zimbabwe.
