Life Rolls on , time still flies.

Hello everyone,
I hope you are keeping well and staying safe and getting out and about a bit more.
I wanted to update you with my thoughts for going forward as we creep out of lock down.

Pilates on Zoom, is working very well, and those who have joined my classes have echoed that sentiment. There are still odd computer glitches now and again, and we are all learning to accept and  deal with them.

Pilates on Zoom is very versatile, I can have more than 4 at once, so there is room for swapping a class. I don't intend to have large classes, so 6/7 maximum.

Pilates on Zoom saves time as you log on literally 2/3 minutes before, so no travelling and there's still time for a catch up and chat .

Pilates on Zoom  from anywhere. You never need to miss a class due to holidays again!, I can reach you anywhere. Interestingly I have been taking part in a class  in Dubai and doing a Pilates training course in New York.
The possibilities are endless.

I do know its not for everyone ,so keeping within Government guidelines and my governing body, Body Control Pilates, I am tentatively looking to re open my studio , when given the go ahead.

My initial thoughts are,
I could have 2 people social distancing in the studio plus me.

Clients bring their own mats, head cushions, bands and balls.(Some of you have already bought these )

So  in a class of four, 2 could be in the studio and 2 on Zoom at the same time. The following week swap round.

My 1:1 clients would have a choice of studio or Zoom.

Obviously, there are things to consider as each of us are different, and we all must do what we feel comfortable with, I'm happy to discuss your needs individually.

If you want a home programme please ring me.   OR

If you would like to try ZOOM, let me know and I can arrange a trial session,

Having said all that I think the earliest I can open my studio is mid July, but  it is subject to conditions not in my control.

Timetable. Group Classes on Zoom
Monday 10 am.& 11.15 am.
Tuesday  10 am  & 2,30 pm
Wednesday 9.30 am
Thursday 12 pm &4.30 pm
Friday 8.15 am & 9.30 am.

The Nordic Walking UK  governing body is allowing groups of 2/3 to social distance walk and train. If you would like a trial to see how the poles benefit your walking and increase stamina give me a ring.

There's definitely light shining at the end of the tunnel

Stay Calm and Pilates On

Mandy xx
