"ESSENTIALS" ONLINE COURSE
Our church is currently offering online sessions called "Essentials" for our congregation to invite our friends, family, and neighbours to understand what Christianity is all about. The aim of the course is to explain the essential truths at the heart of the Christian faith and connect the unchanging truths of the gospel to the contemporary hearts of men and women. This
poster can be downloaded and shared with anyone who is interested. The third session of five will be held this Tuesday June 9th at 7:30 pm and please
email Pastor Alistair Anderton on how you can join the online sessions!
LCBC WEBSITE FEEDBACK SURVEY
We’re updating the LCBC website and we want to hear from you! We’d like to know what you think about the current website and how it can be improved. The survey is anonymous and takes less than five minutes to complete. Complete the survey by Sunday, June 14th and we thank you for your feedback! Access the feedback survey at:

SUMMER INTERN
LCBC has filled our very first English Summer Intern Ministry Worker! She will continue to build on her leadership training within God’s Kingdom as she works with our different church ministries. Please pray for her during this time and give her guidance on her various assignments within LCBC!
REOPENING PLANS
Many of you are awaiting to hear how our church is planning to reopen and have worship services on-site. We have formed a dedicated relaunch team to plan this while following the requirements of the Alberta Health Services.
Starting the first week of June, LCBC pastors and staff are returning to their offices on-site during the weekdays. If you absolutely need to go to church for essential matters, please notify the church office ahead of time before going to the church. Churches are considered workplaces, and according to the requirements by AHS, the staff and those who visit the church need to sign-in upon arrival and sign-out when they leave. A sign-in log will be placed on the reception desk in the foyer.
39TH ANNIVERSARY
This June we are celebrating our LCBC 39th Anniversary. Each Sunday we will have someone sharing about their spiritual journey with the Lord at LCBC and today we will have someone from the Worship team!
OFFERINGS UPDATE
We thank you for your faithful offerings to our church despite these difficult times. Even though we are not physically meeting in our church, there are still operating expenses to maintain the building and pay our staff, as well as saving up money for the Building Expansion.
Here is a summary of our 2020 Funds as of end of May.
HOW TO GIVE
While our church is closed to on-site gatherings, there are two options to donate offerings to LCBC:
1) Personal cheques may be mailed directly to our church office through Canada Post (do not mail cash). Please make cheques out to "LCBC" or "Lansdowne Community Baptist Church" and indicate which Fund you are donating to (General, Building, Missions, etc.). Our mailing address is at the bottom of this bulletin.
2) LCBC can now accept offerings through online e-transfer. In the additional information field, please type in your a) name, b) offering number, c) designate which Fund you are donating to.
