To Our RISE Community:

As a community organization working alongside marginalized communities, we at RISE Colorado are deeply pained, angered, and saddened by the recent murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and so many others before them. The world is ill with racism, and it cannot continue or be tolerated. We stand in solidarity with the Black Community who continue to fear for their lives every single day. We stand in solidarity with the Family Leaders in our Black Alliance for Educational Equity Coalition who continue to work tirelessly on behalf of their Black children and families. We stand in solidarity with all people and organizations working to dismantle systemic racism and oppression. 

We believe every person has a role to play at this time. Here are some things you can do:
