The recent events in the U.S. have shaken all of us and have brought to light the centuries-old systemic issues of racism, abuse, and oppression in this country. Here at Mobile Glassblowing Studios, we strongly believe that Black lives matter. We condemn the violence that has been committed against innocent Black lives.
We are continuing to work on ways that we (individually and as a business) can better support our Black community, and we recognize that this will be a long-term process that requires sustained energy and attention. Accessibility and inclusion are at the core of what we do, and they always will be. We deeply value and appreciate the diversity in our local, national, and global communities.
To our Black friends, colleagues, customers, and supporters: we are with you. We believe that you deserve an equal voice everywhere. You deserve safety, trust, and opportunity. We are opening our eyes and hearts more than ever, and we are committed to finding more ways to work together toward the common goals of equality and justice.
