Add your voice today to a new campaign - #TeenMomsAndHIV. Be part of the growing movement advocating for more and better support for adolescent mothers affected by HIV and their children.

Adolescent mothers affected by HIV and their children are a critical population being left behind. They are more vulnerable to poor outcomes across HIV targets and the Sustainable Development Goals. Yet they are underserved and have less access to services and support.

This is a priority for all of us. We hope that adolescent mothers affected by HIV, and those who work alongside them, will unite behind the #TeenMomsAndHIV campaign.

Add your voice to call for change. Submit either:
  • A short (1 – 2 minute) video,
  • blog (500 words max), or
  • quote or “soundbite” (approximately 150 words or less).
Please send them to the Coalition for Children Affected by AIDS at info@childrenandhiv.org by 26 June. The Coalition will amplify your voice, creating a steady drumbeat of social media messages that will culminate in a satellite symposium, co-hosted by the Coalition and ViiV Healthcare, on 7th July at the AIDS 2020 virtual conference.
  • Why are adolescent mothers affected by HIV and their children important to you?
  • What role could you and others play in reaching adolescent mothers affected by HIV and their children?
  • What support do you need to deliver those services/programs?
