Hello there,

The last few months presented us all with one of the more unique, and challenging periods that any salon owner can face.  Our goal to support our salons stood even stronger during this time, including rolling out in record time our Online Gift Cards to help keep money flowing to the salons while being forced to close. 


We were able to help our salon owners sell more than $1.1 million dollars in gift cards nationwide!  In order to keep this money flowing, we had to temporarily change some settings, which included helping prevent fraud with limits on gift card amounts, changing the wording on the gift cards, and having the CC processing fees taken out daily.  We understand the challenges that some of these changes created, but hope everyone understands that while not perfect, it was done to keep the money flowing when it was shut off in so many parts of the country.

 

We are happy to say that as of June 1 we are back to the original gift card language, back to traditional monthly fee removal (easier reconciliation where numbers match again to the penny), and no fraud caps on gift card purchases!

 

We are also hard at work and in beta with an eCommerce feature that will help salons sell more retail than ever, in a targeted, client first approach!  We can’t wait to roll this out over the coming months.

 

It’s always our goal to continue to support our salons, help them not only stay open during this time but also GROW, and we are so proud to have worked with our partners to help make this happen!
