Department of Catholic Schools partners with LA84 Foundation

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles Department of Catholic Schools has partnered with the LA84 Foundation to distribute sports gear at seven schools. Thanks to this partnership, 7,500 pieces of sports equipment were distributed to students in our Catholic schools. A nationally recognized leader in support of youth sport programs and public education, LA84 Foundation advocates for the important role sports participation plays in positive youth development. Thank you LA84 Foundation for serving our Catholic school community. We look forward to continuing to work together to achieve great things!

St. Lawrence of Brindisi Hosts Drive-Thru Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

On Pentecost Sunday, the Capuchin Friars blessed parishioners as they drove into the parking lot at St. Lawrence of Brindisi in Watts. This Sunday, Trinity Sunday, the parish will hold exposition of the Blessed Sacrament once again in the parking lot from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

All are invited to attend and to bring some food for the poor. Donations to St. Lawrence Brindisi are also welcome!
