Construction Update
Elaine Construction resumed full construction on June 1. Work on the courtyard will start June 29. The COVID-19 construction plan is being implemented, and limited entry onto the site will ensure safety of staff and construction team.
Elaine has put out an expected construction completion date of Dec. 10. The team is working to ensure that both the library and courtyard projects are completed within the same timeframe. Please note that the timeline for reopening any physical spaces of the Libraries is unknown at this time. The Libraries’ plans for reintroducing services on campus are currently in development and will follow Institute, local, and state guidance for reopening. This has been noted on the Hayden renovation public FAQs.
Cafe Update As Chris shared in today’s community check-in, the new cafe will be named the Courtyard Cafe! Congratulations to Jennifer Edwards, who submitted this name, and thanks to all who submitted ideas!
