Businesses Get More Flexibility on PPP Loans

The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) issued a release outlining recent changes to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) as follows:

Congress finalized legislation this week to ensure that businesses that received a forgivable loan through the PPP can have more leeway on how to spend those funds.

Under the newly passed Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act of 2020, small businesses would have to spend 60 percent of the loan money on payroll compared to 75 percent as outlined in the original law. MORE
