GENERAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING
Do you know what health screening you should be getting at your age?
Knowing what screening you should be having and when you had your last health check up is no different to knowing what model of car you drive and when it is was last serviced.
Life can get busy but taking the time to listen to your body and keep a regular check is an important part of keeping your body in peak condition. The following online resource; Spanner in the Works? is a great way to find out what health screening you should be considering for your age and things you need to be thinking about as you get older.
Spanner in the Works? Hard copy booklets are available across Central Highlands Rural Health campuses.

Keeping physically active is great for our overall health and wellbeing. There are a number of ways to keep active, from walking the dog, playing sport, heading to the gym or going for a bike ride. Your local Neighbourhood House is a great place to find out about local activities offered in your area.
For some it has been a challenging time keeping active during this precendented time of isolation. Some have adapted and continued to improve their physical fitness so it has been different for everyone.Tasman Nankervis is a Program Assistant with Healthy Mind and Movement at Kyneton Health. This Men’s Health Week, Tasman shares his experiences of ‘ISO’ – both as an Exercise Physiologist, and as a competitive mountain biker.
