Today is officially the first day of winter in the southern hemisphere, and the perfect day to celebrate the news that Australian ki resorts will open later this month. And, right on cue, the snow is coming down around our resorts today too.
In this edition, we've curated a few stories to get you all set for winter down under, and keep dreaming about kiing in Canada & the USA soon:

Aerial kiing world champion, Jacqui Cooper represented Australia for 20 years. From five-time world champion to family of five, Jacqui’s spirit and enthusiasm for snow sports continues, as she now shares her passion with her growing family.
Ask her where her favourite Canadian ki destination is, ‘SilverStar - it's gold!’ she says with a beaming smile. "I love the intimate colourful village whilst being able to explore the uncrowded and big mountain!” Cooper adds, “With the kids being little the last thing we wanted was a big village and them being overwhelmed…I want them to feel safe, comfortable and energised by the intimate SilverStar experience”.
The former world champion is mother to 4-year-old twins and a 6-year-old, and no stranger to visiting international ski resorts, having represented Australia in a whopping 139 World Cup events, nine World Championships, as well as gaining selection for five Winter Olympics teams.
