WE’RE ALMOST THERE!

We’re in the homestretch of our campaign with fewer than 72 hours to go. We’ve well surpassed our initial $65,000 goal to ensure HIDDEN’s publication, and we’re now charging toward our target of selling 1,000 books.

Why is our 1,000 book target so important?

Reaching this goal gives us the profit margin necessary to make good on our promise to get 100 copies of HIDDEN into the hands of influential people around the globe: politicians, chefs, journalists, celebrities, NGOs, and world leaders, as well as to schools, museums, and libraries. Not only is HIDDEN a historical document, it's an educational tool. Thanks to everyone who has suggested recipients. Keep them coming at books@weanimals.org.

It goes without saying that the farther our reach, the more chance HIDDEN has to make a difference, and we are determined to make a difference.

Looking through HIDDEN’s pages is going to be experiential. This book is meant to start a conversation about animal use, but also about how 30 photographers and a few editors felt that this subject was so important that they travelled worldwide and at incredible physical, emotional, and psychological expense, to bring these stories back to anyone who will look. HIDDEN provides a stark lens on what we're doing to animals and why it needs to change.

Can you help us reach our goal of selling 1,000 books? By sharing this email and our campaign, you can make a big difference!

We’ve also added a new perk to our campaign! Patron to the Photographers. It’s a big one, but an important one.

Beyond book sales, this book is a tribute to HIDDEN’s dedicated team of extraordinary photographers. HIDDEN is a compilation of incredibly moving and harrowing work by its contributing photographers and journalists who seek to speak up on behalf of animals. Without their efforts, this book would not be the tome that it is. By becoming a Patron to the Photographers, 100% of your contribution will help keep these heroes in the field, undertaking difficult assignments, often executed at their own expense. We need them to continue doing their work, sharing images that encourage audiences to speak up and take part, and do everything that they can to help end these industries that are harmful to the animals, to our health, and to the environment.
With that, we are thrilled to announce our latest contributors to the book (in alphabetical order):

Adam Dean, Adam Oswell, Gav Wheatley, Jan Sorgenfrei, Kelsey Hannah, Lissy Jane, Tamara Kenneally and Tommaso Ausili.

We're very happy to be giving their important work a home in this book.
